FNW 2010 - about the winners

As you already know FreeNetWorld International Film Festival 2010 is closed. If interested in knowing more about this year’s winners, synopses, biographies and external links can be found in the following:

FNW-Special jury award
Ahate Pasa (Duck Crossing) 12min.
Director: Koldo Almandoz
Synopsis: An experienced actor talks about his family’s long tradition in cinema, which he continues to follow. He is a duck, and recounts the many flocks of ducks in famous movies that cross in front of the action. This very witty, tongue-in-cheek film assembles dozens of clips from vintage and recent movies. Clint Eastwood, Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, Terrence Malick, Emir Kusturica – all have worked with ducks.
Director’s biography: Donostia-San Sebastián, 1973. He was born the same day as Jesus Mari Zamora, the famous football player, but some years later. He has worked as a radio speaker and he has made soap operas. He has worked in press and publicity. Nowadays, he is the editor of the balde magazine. He does not have any project of making a feature film or anything, except for watching the waves and having a walk in the empty streets of his neighbourhood with dog Uxeta every night..

Guests of the FNW festival

FreeNetWorld international festival is going to start with the program on 31st of August and will last till the 2nd of September. Jury members that will be guests on the festival are Biljana Kosmogina (Belgrade, Serbia), Giorgos Emmanouil (Athens, Greece) and Vladan Pavlovic (Nis, Serbia).The producer of the film “Both of them” Nataliya Kuznetsova (Moscow, Russsia), Sladjan Stojanovic (Vranje, Serbia) the author of the film Bazen, Goran Radovanovic the author of the film “The piece”, will also be the guests of the festival. The program will be hosted by Tatjana Djukic. All the visitors are welcome to come the festival and the program will start at 8:30 PM on the 31st of August.

Program of the FNW film festival 2010

FreeNetWorld international film festival will be held in the trenches of the Nis fortress within the
E-Fortress festival (E-Tvrdjava festival), from 31st of August till the 2nd of September 2010.
The program will start from 8:30 PM every night and the program of the selected films will end at 10:30PM after which will start the music program of the FNW festival.

FNW Music program

FNW Team has prepared some new programs for this year's festival

music program and some new workshops and theatre performances.

The new music program will consits of film live music experimental music, blues and jazz and some jam sessions bands that will perform on FNW festival are: Revelator’s from Nis, The dogstar revolution from Nis, Trip from Knjazevac, Sound of Illusion form Belgrade, Bass Celik from Nis and Offload from Nis too.

Jury is watching

We have received over 250 films this summer! FreeNetWorld jury is now selecting best 50 films which will be presented to our audience from 31st of August till the 2nd of September in the trenches of Nis Fortress on E-Fortress festival.
